Traffic Authority Pros vs. Cons:

Pros

  1. There are some useful methods and tools available in the member’s area that you can use to grow your business.
  2. High and recurring commission you can earn from its tools.
  3. You can join traffic authority as a free member.

Cons

  1. Its cost is very high and there are other platforms available that can offer the same tools at a much lower price. Moreover, it is an MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) company that is not easy to work on and earn money.
  2. There is lot of false promises in the member’s area that you will be able to get traffic for free but you are purchasing very costly advertising plans.
  3. In order to promote the product, you must buy first and then promote the product. It means in order to earn from the diamond package you must first invest $8397 and then ask referral to invest in this package.

Price:

In order to take the membership fee that allowed to use the tools, you must pay $27 per month and if you refer other people then it will reward you $20 per month. In order to get the traffic academy training access then you must pay $97 per month.

If you want to buy traffic clicks then there are different packages available from basic to diamond. Basic will cost you $220 and Diamond will $8397. You can only earn commission from the package that you have personally purchased it.

Compensation Plan:

Most of the MLM companies offer very complex compensation pan. Please see other popular companies plans like Rodan and Fields, My Lead System Pro and Empower Network to get a good idea about various pans. TA created a hybrid compensation plan known as Infinite leverage plan. When you make a sale you earned a commission based on the type of product. They range for $20 a month for the tools, $50 per month for the training and up to $4000 to traffic packages.

As long as your customer pays for monthly packages and traffic products you continue to earn commission from this. On each First 6 sales on each product type are split between 50/50 between you and your sponsor. After 6 months the split-change to 80/20. You will earn a commission as long as the person under you pay for the monthly subscription and buy those traffic packages.

2015-08-24_14-24-25

You may be thinking why he/she buy again traffic packages because it is not a monthly subscription. Well, Traffic Authority owners believe that it will provide great converting traffic to that individual who have purchased that product and he/she will again come to purchase the package again after the expiry of first and that’s how the cycle will start and you earn repeated commission.

Only the time will tell whether they have good traffic or just a waste. In order to earn the commission you must be qualified by purchasing those products.

Is Traffic Authority a Scam or Legit? My Conclusion:

In my opinion, it is not a scam but even not a product to purchase because of too costly and in the past I have seen that such type of programs has not delivered quality traffic. It is even difficult for people to recruit other peoples to earn commission and they stuck after investing such a heavy amount.

I don’t get why some programs requires one to PAY a certain amount of first in order to be able to promote it. To others it may not be a scam but to me, it is. And since it is an MLM business, I tend to steer clear away from it because I don’t think it is a stable business model that is beneficial for the long term

I’ve never heard about traffic authority before, probably that’s a good thing because i found wealthy affiliate and i’m very happy with it. I Guess traffic authority is not a scam, but the system doesn’t look so good, it looks expensive plus i really hate that you must buy the product in order to promote it. Thanks for the article, it was interesting

I’m always leery of companies that have so many levels of membership. It’s like you can’t do much with the level where you are….you have to step up one more level….and on and on. The prices seem pretty robust. I think the main people that make money with this are those that own the site. Thanks for the warning.

I personally do not like the MLM business model and since traffic authority operates under an MLM scheme, I would never join.
What really irks me is that they are charging ridiculous amounts for clicks that you can definitely find cheaper elsewhere and Clicks that are most probably low quality and will not convert. This is the problem with most MLM opportunities, they promote average products for sky high prices.
Thanks for the review

I tend to stay away from MLM products. I’m not saying you can’t make money with those, but it’s just not worth it. MLMs will always benefit the early birds. If you’re late to the game, you won’t gain anything.

I’d rather spend time to learn how I can build an online business from the ground up. The potential is way higher and it’s more satisfying to me.

Thanks for the review though.

Funnily enough this is the second review I’ve encountered on this poor MLM scheme this week – looks like they’re finally being shown up for what they really are! I heard that the main aim is to get you on the Infinite Leverage platform where you are going to spend $27/month on some pretty poor training – not for me really!

When I read up on this site I found out that Traffic Authority affiliate membership is free, but you can’t get immediate commissions.
Apparetnly you have to make 3 individual sales of each product to earn anything? This indicates a bit of a dodgy MLM to me – what do you think?

Thanks Chris for your comment. Most of MLM sites try to convey that they are free but once you are enrolled with such sites then you are thrown coslty product packages. You can see in my review where i have writtern theri packages that ranges from $200 to $8400.

Hey Khan,
Traffic Authority sounds like a decent name and its tempting me to try it out, glad I came across this review of yours! Its just what I needed.

Basic is $220 is downright ta ridiculous price and I think the reason for that is due to their MLM nature whereby you need to recruit in order to recoup. Definitely not the way I want to do business, keeping my hands off it! Cheers!

This is a great review on Traffic Authority. I’m not sure that buying traffic is what I want my business to be built on, especially, considering how expensive it is. Your review is well organized and sets out the facts in a way that allows the reader to make their own decision. The detail you provide really helps me to avoid digging deeper and wasting time. In my mind, the cons outweigh the pros. Thank you for increasing my awareness of Traffic Authority.

Your use of screenshots really enhance the look and feel of your post but the most outstanding part of your review is the video at the end of the review.

Keep up the great work!

One quick question…what theme have you used for your website that allows you to post the WA banner at the right hand side?

Hi Kahn,
Great review on Traffic Authority. I appreciate you being polite enough to not call it a scam, perhaps it’s not a scam. It is certainly expensive though and not worth the return, if there was any. I think buying traffic is a way of trying to cheat the system. To make money through affiliate marketing, writers need to be genuine and write things that matter to their audience. Buying the views of strangers that may or may not be interested in what you have to say is a gamble, not one I’m willing to take personally. I’d rather be sincere and earn my loyal fans the honest way. Your review has convinced me to stay away from Traffic Authority. Thank you! Are there more legit ways to get traffic than buying it?

Hi Khan,

Just by looking at the $8397 dollar figure, it immediately gives me the confirmation of another scam. Common! Who would be crazy enough to invest that kind of amount just to get clicks. Another thing is, its just CLICKS. How sure are they that these clicks would become sales? It would probably be worthy if they promise that for every click, it would sureball be a sale but common! It doesnt happen like that. What we need are sales. And although this platform promises clicks and traffic, honestly no one cares. We need conversions!

Reply
    khan - January 29, 2016

Thanks Pitin for comment. These are just clicks and as you said there is no guarantee of conversions. Even most highly targeted traffic would not give more than 40% conversions. This is a platform designed for people who love MLM busiess models becasue they can build large downline and earn referral commission.

It is not for people who are looking for traffic to get convefrsions because there are much better sites avaialbe that can give you great results at a less cost.

Traffic authority is not just what a business builder online should use. If you were to use this program, then you would not have to build your website. Maybe just one page on advertising all of your products will do. Putting up so much money just to get traffic is a big risk and you may not earn back that amount of money.

Have you found any other ways to buy traffic that is not as expensive?

hi Khan
Well I agree that Traffic Authority might not be a scam but it is a buttload of money for not much! I mean, I don’t need training to create a FB page for my site and advertise. I was able to do that on my own. And yes 8000 clicks might be nice, it certainly won’t transfer into $9000 worth of commissions. I just don’t see the value in this. It is too expensive what you could get as a return.

I unfortunately do not have that much money to invest in clicks that may result in no commission. Do you know of any other work from home program, where I can legitimately make a lot of money, but will not cost me a lot to invest in.

Because I don’t have a lot of money I can’t keep taking chances on things that just don’t work. Please help Khan, my time is getting shorter everyday and I need to get started on something asap.

If you want some quick results, then my sincere advice is to try fiverr. Simply acquire some basic skills like logo designing or small SEO tasks and sell them on this platform.

Hi Khan

Thank you for a great review. Perhaps it isn’t a scam, but like you say the cost is so high! The problem is that so many people get all hyped up about traffic and so many companies claim to provide “quality traffic” through whatever means.
The way I see it is the only “quality traffic” is organic search traffic, email marketing traffic and social network traffic… and this means your own email traffic through subscribers signed up on your own website. The same goes for social media, traffic from your social media profiles or of course because people have shared your website socially.
I suggest anyone that wants traffic to focus on just adding quality content to their website and of course making sure they choose the right keywords… btw which keyword tool do you use?

    khan - January 3, 2016

Thanks Lynne for your comment. I totally agreed with your solution as regular updating of your site is one of best way to get traffic to your site. But one thing do remember that keyword selection should be spot on.

I am using Long tail pro that helps me a lot about finding long tail keywords that are less competitive. It has a vey good feature of keyword competitiveness that tells us about the difficulty you need to face in order to rank for this one.

There traffic I assume is ok and highly targeted…**IF** you are in make money online niche. Essentially what their traffic is for, meaning that is your market – no point trying to sell that traffic to someone in the diet or health niche (untargeted traffic) (my reason for getting out and asking for a refund (given)

I really hate these types of MLM companies such as traffic authority. Then these guys will even go and sell you traffic.

Traffic brokers are a thing of the past and I would not recommend anyone to try them out. Most of them scammers that will charge you more than 100% for what they get.

You are easier off running your own campaigns on bing, Google and Facebook.

They do seem to offer a lot of useful tools. However, buying traffic doesn’t seem like a smart move. Are they even on relevant websites that will actually generate you money? Wouldn’t it be smarter to buy ads from an authority site that is relevant in your niche?

It almost looks like Empower network in terms of plans. They will start you with one plan you have to own the plan you promote. This has ponzi scheme written all over it!

Reply
    khan - December 7, 2015

Thanks Garen for your comment. They all mostly have the same business model but different products. At the end, your entire focus is to recruit new people to the program and earn money.

Definitely buying something that is relevant to your site will only work because they are targeted and converts well. There are even places online that are offering 1000 visitors for just $20, but it is even difficult to convert 1 or 2 from this.

PPC is the best paid option but one needs to know better before going for this option. Risk is there due to money but once you have learnt well then you can scale it up generate full time income.

I have no direct knowledge of Traffic Authority and their traffic may be different, but I think this traffic field is full of false promises and scams. They say it is the fastest, easiest way. In reality, it is just another fake shortcut.

Also, their prices seem to be astonishingly high. Really, $8,000?

upto now I did not know much about traffic authority, seen some ads but did not take time to read.
There is no way im investing so much in any programme,$ 8397? this sounds like pure scam to me, honest programs do not have a reason to ask for so much investment.

You should track your campaigns and check return on investment (ROI). If ROI is positive then move further but I do believe that using such costly package will rare deliver positive ROI.

I have seen lot of products that have used fake testimonials and promo videos and it becomes very difficult to identify this.

Fantastic review of Traffic Authority 🙂

The traffic package programs certainly do look very costly, and the cons are very offputting, I’m afraid!

I guess this program will be suited to some people looking for extra visitors online, but I much prefer your #1 recommended Wealthy Affiliate program instead 🙂

Good article. What kills me about a lot of these get more traffic programs, is that they charge you an arm and a leg to teach you something that you can go do yourself for free. Or they teach you tricks to get around the rules and you end up getting blacklisted. When it comes to traffic I like the old fashioned way. Just provide good, quality content on your sight and use good keywords.

Hello Khan
When is a scam not a scam that is the question?
Some scams are of course blatantly obvious especially to the seasoned internet marketer.
But of course there are way more ordinary people on this planet that are all too easily duped into buying into this or that program that promises them riches beyond their widest dreams.
Therefore is Traffic Authority a scam?
You say not really, just too expensive to get started. But after reading your review I would have stayed well clear of this one.
I hope your visitors will really read your review and give this program a wide berth and opt for a company with a proven track record that doesn’t want anything from them just to try it and see if it is for them.
Of course I mean a company such as Wealthy Affiliate which I joined over a year ago and have never looked back.

Thanks Robert for your feedback. May be scam critera vary from person to person and to my side it is a program that is not paying to its members like zeekrewards, bannersbrokers and many other PTC sites etc or there are some other sites that has no legit product at all and just using ponzi model.

When you look at Traffic Authorty then it has product, it is legit but its qualty is questioanlbe, so it can’t be scam in my criteria. As it hasn’t quality product so it can never be advisable to be involved in.

That’s why I am promoting Wealthy Affiliate which is simply complete package for everyone. It has over 200,000 communty members and are growing very fast. Robert how’s your experience is going on n Wealthy Affiliate.

I am not a big fan of buying traffic and clicks, you never know of what quality and relevance these offers are.

Think it’s much better to build your traffic streams on your own. Sure it takes time, but with some good strategies it’s free and well targeted traffic.

Thanks for sharing!

The packages are quite expensive. For a newbie, it is not affordable. I think it is meant for established companies, which envisage to gain high traffic to their promotional products. What do you think? One question, though, why they only offer clicks from Canada and the USA only? How do we know those are generated from bots or from real people?

Reply
    khan - October 31, 2015

Thanks Alex for your comment. I think they have not created this product especially for established companies but for everyone. Though it is not worth for anyone whether established companies or individuals because of the high cost.

This is because Canada and the USA people are included in level 1 countries and they are more likely to convert well than Asian countries. This is a good point that it is very difficult to tell whether these clicks are from real people or bots.

I listen to radio program every morning and I listen to different people like Mountain Man with a lot of hype, I would like to know what percentage of your members make a decent living using your system. I usually only hear about Vincent Ortega making 100K per month, I would like to hear from people that are making a living using your system. Also, can you give me the percentage of your members that make between 4K to 12K per month using your system.

Hi Khan,

Thanks for a terrific and unbiased review of Traffic Authority. After reading your post, my first thought was Good grief! Yet another overly complicated and expensive make money product.

Like you said, you can buy advertising elsewhere and your only cost is the advertising. It’s hard to beat Facebook for targeted advertising.

If someone really wanted to build an online business and make money online, the easiest and most ethical way I know of is with your #1 recommendation. Hands down it’s the best.

A great review and a terrific website.

Traffic Authority as I said earlier has very costly packages and its entire focus on MLM business. It is better to find other best solutions.

When I was reading your review on traffic authority I was thinking I would need to be very well off to join! I don’t see the point in buying traffic when you create your own website, isn’t it. Most peoples aim to provide an interesting user-friendly site where people freely view the site on a regular basis because the content is informative, helpful or enjoyable. They don’t want to have to pay people to view it that would be rather insulting after all the time and effort they put in to creating their website.

Thanks Coughlanmaureen for your comment. Many people can create their website but getting traffic is something else. You can either use SEO or buy paid traffic. SEO works well and delivers long lasting effect. Paid traffic is instant and the worse thing about this is, it is paid.

Paid traffic is only for professionals and it can generate good return on investment provided that it is used perfectly. Still i feel that you are right, if one can create website then he should write quality content and get traffic through search engine.

It is evident in this program that if at all it has to benefit somebody, then they should be rich enough not to feel the pinch of parting with cash from their pockets in exchange for free traffic. I believe nothing comes easy you must struggle for it. Again to get referrals in this type of business is just close to impossible just because of the high cost. Good information though.

Thank you for the review. While this program may indeed increase the traffic to my website, I have a few issues with the idea.

1) I cannot justify paying that kind of money for random traffic. Most of us develop websites to make money, not pay someone else to get me traffic that I could actually get on my own with hard work.

2) I do not like the idea of buying traffic. The whole idea of building a website is to generate traffic. I can’t see myself being happy about traffic I paid for.

3)Just because you are guaranteed clicks doesn’t mean that the visitor will be engaged. They may very well click and look at your site but will they really come back again. At least I know that if my website is found in an organic search, the visitor was actually looking for material like what can be found on my website.

Thank you for sharing your views on this program. You have given a thorough and clear picture of Traffic Authority. I am sure there are people who can benefit from it.

In my opinion the price is outrageous, for a person like myself who is trying to build a business online and just getting started this would be out of reach. I agree with you, it may be legit, but it would be difficult for a person to recruit another person and earn commission. Ultimately you would end up stuck, and in the hole. I would imagine that the traffic must be awfully good for them to be able to charge these exorbitant fees. Or maybe they need to charge the high fees to make their commissions.

If the traffic converts, then it won’t be a problem as people will buy more packages, but if it doesn’t…….

Trusting that this type of traffic does convert well for the price you are paying.

The reason for higher packeges is due to high affiliate commission. This is even difficult for member to get affiliate. Suppose one person invest in one package and it is very difficult to get another affiliate and motivate them to buy package so that he/she can earn commission. Though this is not impossible but very difficult.

Hi br. Yasir. To be honest, I’m a little confused about Traffic Authority and agree that it’s not a scam. But at the same time I agree that it’s by far not the best option out there in order to invest money. Sometimes I buy traffic from Yahoo (PPC) which is highly targeted and get 250 visits for every $50 spent on my PPC campaign. This option is much better compared to what Traffic Authority offers ( 190 clicks for $220). I think it’s not acceptable. There is another option to buy traffic from directcpv dot com and you can get up to 3000 clicks for $50. With all this in mind I think the best option would be to check your #1 recommended program.

To begin with, l did not know it cost to join, then again, $220-$8397 is nothing to shout about if the program is not going to deliver.

It may not be a scam, but tell me, if delivery to promise cannot be guaranteed, and at such an expensive cost that the most likely person to lose is the one who takes the bait and not even able to share the hook and line.

Anyone who pays so much, should not see it necessary to want this service because they already have it made.

And I also don’t like that all traffic seems to be built on paid sources. Buying traffic packages is in most cases followed by not very well targeted traffic coming in, which leads to low conversions and poor profits.

Thanks for bringing things to the point here!

Hello Khan,

First, I want to thank you for the Traffic Authority review. It was pleasure to read it.

From my point of view, this kind of sites are rubbish.
They ask you money for guaranteed clicks, but the main problem is that these clicks are made by people which are not interested in your product or service. It is a waste of time and your money.

Ok you get traffic, but what is happening then. People are leaving your site fast, and then our friend Google asks why we have so big traffic, but so big bounce rate, and then penalizes our site.

From other side they give you commission to recruit others and what happens. People doing business with Traffic Wave become more interested in commissions made by recruiting than in the product and then becomes big chance that Traffic Wave turns into pyramid scheme.

What do you think about it?

Greetings,

Dean

P.S. I just hit their landing page and they have sales pitching video like many scams

Thanks Dean for your comment and feedback. You have written in your comment exactly what my thoughts related to such programs. Sending traffic to your site that is not targeted, infact you are harming your site in big way because it will increase your bounce rate and Google sees this site is not providing valuable informatuon to readers and derank your site.

People join these sites due to their high paying commissions and stuck in the money making process because it is not easy to get referrals for such a product. Those who are earning big commissions will not leave you go and show their big commissions for your motivation. But the truth is more than 95% people lose their money in such sites.

This seems very similar to some other essentially MLM programs that count more on your selling their expensive programs and service tan on a real product.

As other have said here, just getting traffic is not the point. Having targeted traffic that is looking for the product or service you offer is worth much more than just getting someone to pop into your site.

The cost for their traffic is also ridiculous, I can only wonder how many more targeted visits you could get using a PPC approachj and doing some research for the targets with this amount of money.

They count on people selling others on the program at an inflated price through offering their commissions, but requiring those that want to participate to pay to play is just another way to make money up front…

Think about this another way….If you want to pay people to come to a site to buy something you are selling, why not use an affiliate scenario? This way, you pay ONLY when they sell something you are offering?

That makes a LOT more sense to me than me paying up front a much higher amount of money out of my pocket, and I haven’t got a penny back into my pocket yet!

Thanks for your review, yet one more that I will not bother to open should I get a mail on it one day! We need reviews like this to help newbies and veterans alike not waste their time and money!

I mostly use SEO for traffic but buying traffic is also another great idea but it should be matched with return on investment (ROI). I think PPC advertising is a better option to start and it takes time to master it but with the passage of time results will improve.
