Buying Traffic – Buying traffic is the best way to get traffic quickly to your site and you can use this traffic authority platform and get email traffic that is highly targeted and also from USA and Canada.

Traffic Authority Pros vs. Cons:

  1. There are some useful methods and tools available in the member’s area that you can use to grow your business.
  2. High and recurring commission you can earn from its tools.
  3. You can join traffic authority as a free member.

  1. Its cost is very high and there are other platforms available that can offer the same tools at a much lower price. Moreover, it is an MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) company that is not easy to work on and earn money.
  2. There is lot of false promises in the member’s area that you will be able to get traffic for free but you are purchasing very costly advertising plans.
  3. In order to promote the product, you must buy first and then promote the product. It means in order to earn from the diamond package you must first invest $8397 and then ask referral to invest in this package.

In order to take the membership fee that allowed to use the tools, you must pay $27 per month and if you refer other people then it will reward you $20 per month. In order to get the traffic academy training access then you must pay $97 per month.

If you want to buy traffic clicks then there are different packages available from basic to diamond. Basic will cost you $220 and Diamond will $8397. You can only earn commission from the package that you have personally purchased it.

Compensation Plan:

Most of the MLM companies offer very complex compensation pan. Please see other popular companies plans like Rodan and Fields, My Lead System Pro and Empower Network to get a good idea about various pans. TA created a hybrid compensation plan known as Infinite leverage plan. When you make a sale you earned a commission based on the type of product. They range for $20 a month for the tools, $50 per month for the training and up to $4000 to traffic packages.

As long as your customer pays for monthly packages and traffic products you continue to earn commission from this. On each First 6 sales on each product type are split between 50/50 between you and your sponsor. After 6 months the split-change to 80/20. You will earn a commission as long as the person under you pay for the monthly subscription and buy those traffic packages.

You may be thinking why he/she buy again traffic packages because it is not a monthly subscription. Well, Traffic Authority owners believe that it will provide great converting traffic to that individual who have purchased that product and he/she will again come to purchase the package again after the expiry of first and that’s how the cycle will start and you earn repeated commission.

Only the time will tell whether they have good traffic or just a waste. In order to earn the commission you must be qualified by purchasing those products.

Is Traffic Authority a Scam or Legit? My Conclusion:

In my opinion, it is not a scam but even not a product to purchase because of too costly and in the past I have seen that such type of programs has not delivered quality traffic. It is even difficult for people to recruit other peoples to earn commission and they stuck after investing such a heavy amount.

I don’t get why some programs requires one to PAY a certain amount of first in order to be able to promote it. To others it may not be a scam but to me, it is. And since it is an MLM business, I tend to steer clear away from it because I don’t think it is a stable business model that is beneficial for the long term

    khan - February 19, 2018

    Thanks Rab for your comment.

RichPersonality - December 26, 2017

I’ve never heard about traffic authority before, probably that’s a good thing because i found wealthy affiliate and i’m very happy with it. I Guess traffic authority is not a scam, but the system doesn’t look so good, it looks expensive plus i really hate that you must buy the product in order to promote it. Thanks for the article, it was interesting

    khan - December 28, 2017

    Thanks RichPersonality for your comment.

Warren - September 12, 2017

I’m always leery of companies that have so many levels of membership. It’s like you can’t do much with the level where you are….you have to step up one more level….and on and on. The prices seem pretty robust. I think the main people that make money with this are those that own the site. Thanks for the warning.

Minhaj - July 14, 2017

I personally do not like the MLM business model and since traffic authority operates under an MLM scheme, I would never join.
What really irks me is that they are charging ridiculous amounts for clicks that you can definitely find cheaper elsewhere and Clicks that are most probably low quality and will not convert. This is the problem with most MLM opportunities, they promote average products for sky high prices.
Thanks for the review

    khan - July 18, 2017

Thanks Minhaj for your reply. You are right that when you could get better thing at a cheaper price then why not go there.

Geek Hibrid - April 7, 2017

This program really isn’t all that. Especially with the price they are charging. You are better off using SEO or online advertising.

Chris - November 5, 2016

These three, Greg Chambers, Doug Wellens, and Chad Stalvey, seem to know what they are doing here…but they are more aimed at making money that actually helping the people that sign up!
Thanks for your review – I’m sick of half-digested opportunities online and this seems to be yet another one. I wonder how much money they have made through it so far….

Andrew - November 1, 2016

I tend to stay away from MLM products. I’m not saying you can’t make money with those, but it’s just not worth it. MLMs will always benefit the early birds. If you’re late to the game, you won’t gain anything.

I’d rather spend time to learn how I can build an online business from the ground up. The potential is way higher and it’s more satisfying to me.

Thanks for the review though.

    khan - November 12, 2016

    Thanks Andrew for your comment.

You have said righly what i am trying to saying. Early birds can take up the big pie and people joined lately suffer heavily.

Chris - May 15, 2016

Wow I have to say that the kind of price they have on this offer seems completely unreal to me – who would risk paying those perspective prices to do something simple like earning online? I thank you for bringing this type of thing to my attention – the sales page doesn’t touch on price…

    khan - October 23, 2016

    Thanks Chris for your comment.

Chris - May 4, 2016

Funnily enough this is the second review I’ve encountered on this poor MLM scheme this week – looks like they’re finally being shown up for what they really are! I heard that the main aim is to get you on the Infinite Leverage platform where you are going to spend $27/month on some pretty poor training – not for me really!

    khan - May 4, 2016

Thanks for your comment. All MLM’s have hidden agenda and try to squeeze people as mcuh as possible. I think the best way is to avoid such sites and move for the best that are giving good results.

Chris - May 3, 2016

When I read up on this site I found out that Traffic Authority affiliate membership is free, but you can’t get immediate commissions.
Apparetnly you have to make 3 individual sales of each product to earn anything? This indicates a bit of a dodgy MLM to me – what do you think?

    khan - May 4, 2016

Thanks Chris for your comment. Most of MLM sites try to convey that they are free but once you are enrolled with such sites then you are thrown coslty product packages. You can see in my review where i have writtern theri packages that ranges from $200 to $8400.

Riaz Shah - March 21, 2016

Hey Khan,
Traffic Authority sounds like a decent name and its tempting me to try it out, glad I came across this review of yours! Its just what I needed.

Basic is $220 is downright ta ridiculous price and I think the reason for that is due to their MLM nature whereby you need to recruit in order to recoup. Definitely not the way I want to do business, keeping my hands off it! Cheers!

    khan - March 23, 2016

Thanks Shah for your nice feedback. I am also not a big fan of MLM business. If you are looking for real business online then see my #1 recommendation.

Miles - March 15, 2016

This is a great review on Traffic Authority. I’m not sure that buying traffic is what I want my business to be built on, especially, considering how expensive it is. Your review is well organized and sets out the facts in a way that allows the reader to make their own decision. The detail you provide really helps me to avoid digging deeper and wasting time. In my mind, the cons outweigh the pros. Thank you for increasing my awareness of Traffic Authority.

Your use of screenshots really enhance the look and feel of your post but the most outstanding part of your review is the video at the end of the review.

Keep up the great work!

One quick question…what theme have you used for your website that allows you to post the WA banner at the right hand side?

    khan - March 17, 2016

Thanks Miles for your comment and positive remarks. I am using Metro Pro theme.

Kris M. - February 14, 2016

Hi Kahn,
Great review on Traffic Authority. I appreciate you being polite enough to not call it a scam, perhaps it’s not a scam. It is certainly expensive though and not worth the return, if there was any. I think buying traffic is a way of trying to cheat the system. To make money through affiliate marketing, writers need to be genuine and write things that matter to their audience. Buying the views of strangers that may or may not be interested in what you have to say is a gamble, not one I’m willing to take personally. I’d rather be sincere and earn my loyal fans the honest way. Your review has convinced me to stay away from Traffic Authority. Thank you! Are there more legit ways to get traffic than buying it?

    khan - February 17, 2016

Thanks Kris M. for your thougths. In my opinion the best way is to write quality content on low competitive keywords. This is the most long term solution availabe if anyone want to employed and all other will cost you tons of money with very small return on investment.

Jason - February 1, 2016

Hey Khan, thanks for the review on Traffic Authority. It sounds like a huge investment for a small return. Even the Basic is $220? They sure are proud of this thing aren’t they? Your review was very honest and told me I shouldn’t invest in this program. The cons way outweigh the pros. Thanks

    khan - February 2, 2016

Thanks Jason for your feedback. There should be a balance between pros and cons. Even i have never found a program that is without cons but definitely it will only provide you value then it offers more benefits than its cons.

Pitin - January 26, 2016

Hi Khan,

Just by looking at the $8397 dollar figure, it immediately gives me the confirmation of another scam. Common! Who would be crazy enough to invest that kind of amount just to get clicks. Another thing is, its just CLICKS. How sure are they that these clicks would become sales? It would probably be worthy if they promise that for every click, it would sureball be a sale but common! It doesnt happen like that. What we need are sales. And although this platform promises clicks and traffic, honestly no one cares. We need conversions!

    khan - January 29, 2016

Thanks Pitin for comment. These are just clicks and as you said there is no guarantee of conversions. Even most highly targeted traffic would not give more than 40% conversions. This is a platform designed for people who love MLM busiess models becasue they can build large downline and earn referral commission.

It is not for people who are looking for traffic to get convefrsions because there are much better sites avaialbe that can give you great results at a less cost.

Steve - January 25, 2016

Traffic authority is not just what a business builder online should use. If you were to use this program, then you would not have to build your website. Maybe just one page on advertising all of your products will do. Putting up so much money just to get traffic is a big risk and you may not earn back that amount of money.

    khan - January 27, 2016

Thanks Steve for your comment. You are right it will not guide you to build website and write great quality content to generate traffic to your site through search engines.

Alex - January 22, 2016

Hey Khan,

I have been looking into buying traffic for a while not, but didn’t know much about it. Traffic Authority seems to be extremely expensive for how many clicks you get. I think most people would be paying more for clicks than they earn.

Have you found any other ways to buy traffic that is not as expensive?

    khan - January 26, 2016

Thanks Alex for your comment. There are various other ways that people are using like Google Adwords. Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, and Media Buying. They are all risky methods because it needs differents skills for conversions.

Adam - January 22, 2016

Hey there Yas, I was reading your review om traffic authority, and whether it is a scam or not. To me it seems like a legit opportunity to jump your online business to the next level. I think it is something I will take a further look at here in the future. I will be sure to share with anyone else who might find it useful. Thanks, Adam

    khan - January 23, 2016

Thanks Adam for your comment. I also don’t think it is a scam but even not a business to invest there.

Emily - January 1, 2016

hi Khan
Well I agree that Traffic Authority might not be a scam but it is a buttload of money for not much! I mean, I don’t need training to create a FB page for my site and advertise. I was able to do that on my own. And yes 8000 clicks might be nice, it certainly won’t transfer into $9000 worth of commissions. I just don’t see the value in this. It is too expensive what you could get as a return.

    khan - January 3, 2016

Thanks Emily for your comment and you mentioned it exactly that it the clicks are not worth investment.

      Gloria - February 8, 2016

      hey khan,

I really appreciate your investigation on TA, and it was very informative to me, I don’t think it is a scam, however, I am a single mother of a disabled child that will be 21 in the next couple months and I am in need of income that will take the place of my 40 hour a week job that I presently have because my daughter will no longer to go to a public school and will be home all day.

I unfortunately do not have that much money to invest in clicks that may result in no commission. Do you know of any other work from home program, where I can legitimately make a lot of money, but will not cost me a lot to invest in.

Because I don’t have a lot of money I can’t keep taking chances on things that just don’t work. Please help Khan, my time is getting shorter everyday and I need to get started on something asap.

        khan - February 16, 2016

Thanks Gloria for your comment. Very sad to hear about your disabled son and best wishes for him. To be honest, the best way is to create your own site and promote different product and services using affiliate marketing. This one is the most legit method and will take a time to build.

If you want some quick results, then my sincere advice is to try fiverr. Simply acquire some basic skills like logo designing or small SEO tasks and sell them on this platform.

Lynne - January 1, 2016

Hi Khan

Thank you for a great review. Perhaps it isn’t a scam, but like you say the cost is so high! The problem is that so many people get all hyped up about traffic and so many companies claim to provide “quality traffic” through whatever means.
The way I see it is the only “quality traffic” is organic search traffic, email marketing traffic and social network traffic… and this means your own email traffic through subscribers signed up on your own website. The same goes for social media, traffic from your social media profiles or of course because people have shared your website socially.
I suggest anyone that wants traffic to focus on just adding quality content to their website and of course making sure they choose the right keywords… btw which keyword tool do you use?

    khan - January 3, 2016

Thanks Lynne for your comment. I totally agreed with your solution as regular updating of your site is one of best way to get traffic to your site. But one thing do remember that keyword selection should be spot on.

I am using Long tail pro that helps me a lot about finding long tail keywords that are less competitive. It has a vey good feature of keyword competitiveness that tells us about the difficulty you need to face in order to rank for this one.

Roope - December 30, 2015

Thank you for your review!

I agree with you that Traffic Authority seems to be VERY EXPENSIVE. I think there are cheaper and actually better ways to get the same services that they provide. My favorite training is also Wealthy Affiliate and now I’m concentrating on it. 🙂 Its price is $349 which is many times cheaper than Traffic Authority.

    khan - January 1, 2016

Thanks Roope for your comment. I hope you are enjoying great days in Wealthy Affiliate.

Derek Marshall - December 25, 2015

Hi there,

I would go right out and say that Traffic is a scam but I just could not see it working and I was in on pre-launch and quite thankful I got my refund.

There traffic I assume is ok and highly targeted…**IF** you are in make money online niche. Essentially what their traffic is for, meaning that is your market – no point trying to sell that traffic to someone in the diet or health niche (untargeted traffic) (my reason for getting out and asking for a refund (given)

    khan - December 29, 2015

Thanks, Derek Marshall for your comment. Good guide for anyone who is looking for paid traffic from Traffic Authority.

Viljoen - December 10, 2015

I really hate these types of MLM companies such as traffic authority. Then these guys will even go and sell you traffic.

Traffic brokers are a thing of the past and I would not recommend anyone to try them out. Most of them scammers that will charge you more than 100% for what they get.

You are easier off running your own campaigns on bing, Google and Facebook.

    khan - December 11, 2015

Thanks Viljoen for you thoughts. You are right, for paid traffic it would be a better option to use Bing, Google and Facebooks ads. They have much better results. For MLM, I just only say that it is for those who are very well in recruiting new people.

Deanna Martin - December 6, 2015

I like your site. Very complete and well done. I had never heard of Traffic Authority before, but too expensive. I have tried some of A Morrison’s products and I’m not impressed either. The one thing I noticed is your grammar. Double check and make sure you proof -read everything. Continued success. Deanna

    khan - December 7, 2015

Thanks Deanna Martin for your thoughts. Yes, I am weak in Grammar but with the passage of time it will be getting better and better. English is not my first or even second language but I am still learning.

I often forget to proofread and it contains lot of errors but I am trying my best to offer value to my viewers.

Garen - December 5, 2015

They do seem to offer a lot of useful tools. However, buying traffic doesn’t seem like a smart move. Are they even on relevant websites that will actually generate you money? Wouldn’t it be smarter to buy ads from an authority site that is relevant in your niche?

It almost looks like Empower network in terms of plans. They will start you with one plan you have to own the plan you promote. This has ponzi scheme written all over it!

    khan - December 7, 2015

Thanks Garen for your comment. They all mostly have the same business model but different products. At the end, your entire focus is to recruit new people to the program and earn money.

Definitely buying something that is relevant to your site will only work because they are targeted and converts well. There are even places online that are offering 1000 visitors for just $20, but it is even difficult to convert 1 or 2 from this.

PPC is the best paid option but one needs to know better before going for this option. Risk is there due to money but once you have learnt well then you can scale it up generate full time income.

Xin Zhang - December 4, 2015

Hello Yasir,

My husband has had some experience in the past with paying for traffic. The traffic always turned out to be useless. In his experience, the traffic contained no buyers, It was a complete waste of money.

I have no direct knowledge of Traffic Authority and their traffic may be different, but I think this traffic field is full of false promises and scams. They say it is the fastest, easiest way. In reality, it is just another fake shortcut.

Also, their prices seem to be astonishingly high. Really, $8,000?

    khan - December 5, 2015

Thanks, Xin Zhang for your thoughts. I have also spent of some advertising platforms but could not able to get conversions, but now I am thinking it moving towards Bing ads to check whether it works or not. Traffic authority is purely an MLM business model and their product is not up to the mark.

I have seen a lot of people complaining about their product but it is implied that it is just for show of but in reality it is MLM model they are focusing on.

roamy - November 29, 2015

There are so many traffic exchanges out there all promising to deliver the best.
Not knowing which one to trust, its good to read reviews from different sites.
l do not like traffic sites making promises because from experience very few do deliver.
upto now I did not know much about traffic authority, seen some ads but did not take time to read.
There is no way im investing so much in any programme,$ 8397? this sounds like pure scam to me, honest programs do not have a reason to ask for so much investment.
Cheers Roamy

    khan - November 30, 2015

Thanks roamy for your thoughts. Internet is full of scams and at start it looks extremely difficult to judge where to go next. Traffic Authority is MLM company that provides traffic to your site. Its packages are really hefty and you are rewarded with high affiliate commission. But I do believe that after throeing so much mony in you may easily stuck and could not move forward by getting more affiliates.

Roamy it is not a scam but due to its business model and expensive packages this product deserves not to invest in it.

Holly - November 29, 2015

I have never heard of Traffic Authority so will definitely check it out. It seems interesting especially when I know there are so many programs out there for a better price. Although I suppose the rewards and commission are a lot higher as well so it goes hand in hand. Just a quick question… is this an MLM structures program as I am wary of these…

    khan - November 30, 2015

Thanks Holly for your comment. Exactly it is an MLM program that has very expensive products. I have also been part of such programs in the past then I realized that it is only for few people who are early birds.

For traffic generation it would be better to use other PPC advertising platforms that offers cheap click rate and send you better targeted traffic that converts well.

Anthony - November 28, 2015

Hello there,

I was initially interested in this program when searching for it on google but it seems that you would recommend other plans that are more valuable and for way cheaper. The monthly cost of Traffic Authority isn’t terrible but all the upsells and false promises are what is nuts. Sometimes I wonder if anyone is really making money online or it the money to be made just in selling the programs like Traffic Authority? Whats your thoughts?

    khan - November 30, 2015

Thanks Anthony for your feedback. You are right, it all start with an average cost, but the money you earn will need to be spent for further advance packages. Hence, you just stuck in the site and could not able to earn. All your earned money will be expended for upsells.

I never go for promoting such type of product because let’s supposed you have invested in it. In order to earn you must get new customers to the site and it is very difficult. Who wants to join for such expensive packages? Definitely very few.

Alblue - November 24, 2015

Hello there, thank your for reviewing this program I agree with you that this looks not a scam, but the cost is to pricey!

I am still new in the internet business, so I don’t want to spend on something too costly like this. Do you have any good recommendation where I can start and learn about online business with free, or at least small cost?

Thanks so much for your help.

    khan - November 27, 2015

    Hi Alblue,

Thanks for your comment. If you are a beginner then I will recommend Wealthy Affiliate for you. I have provided a detailed review on WA here.

John Rico - November 15, 2015

I think traffic authority is a good program but there is one thing that took my attention. The starting cost is just too expensive. I myself has tried several programs like it and i decided to quit. It is just too costly especially that I am just starting my journey in online business. Fortunately I learned about an almost the same program but is way cheaper. Have you heard about wealthy afffiliate?

    khan - November 16, 2015

Thanks, John Rico for your comment. You are right, it is very costly especially for beginners. I have also been members of similar programs in the past but, unfortunately, could not earn anything. Then I come to know that these type of programs are not for everyone.

Yes I am a member of Wealthy Affiliate and enjoying and learning every moment of it.

rufat - November 5, 2015

Great review of the Traffic Authority. It looks like the program is legit but it has too many red flags to watch out for. It’s good that they teach how to drive traffic but most of their methods include paid methods and the prices are very high. I think this kind of program is not for everyone. And I agree that there are too many false promises in the promo video on their website and I’m sure testimonials are fake from Fiverr

    khan - November 6, 2015

Thanks rufat for your feedback. Traffic Authority is not a scam but even not the product to be involved in. Buying costly packages for getting traffic is never a good idea. You should track your campaigns and check return on investment (ROI). If ROI is positive then move further but I do believe that using such costly package will rare deliver positive ROI.

I have seen lot of products that have used fake testimonials and promo videos and it becomes very difficult to identify this.

Neil - November 5, 2015

Fantastic review of Traffic Authority 🙂

The traffic package programs certainly do look very costly, and the cons are very offputting, I’m afraid!

I guess this program will be suited to some people looking for extra visitors online, but I much prefer your #1 recommended Wealthy Affiliate program instead 🙂

    khan - November 6, 2015

Thanks Neil for your feedback. Yes, it is for those people who are looking for instant traffic and who likes MLM model. I am not a fan of MLM becasue I have wasted lot of time and money on these sites and then I realised that it is only for very few people who jon early in the system.

Andres Santos - November 5, 2015

Good article. What kills me about a lot of these get more traffic programs, is that they charge you an arm and a leg to teach you something that you can go do yourself for free. Or they teach you tricks to get around the rules and you end up getting blacklisted. When it comes to traffic I like the old fashioned way. Just provide good, quality content on your sight and use good keywords.

    khan - November 6, 2015

Hello Khan
When is a scam not a scam that is the question?
Some scams are of course blatantly obvious especially to the seasoned internet marketer.
But of course there are way more ordinary people on this planet that are all too easily duped into buying into this or that program that promises them riches beyond their widest dreams.
Therefore is Traffic Authority a scam?
You say not really, just too expensive to get started. But after reading your review I would have stayed well clear of this one.
I hope your visitors will really read your review and give this program a wide berth and opt for a company with a proven track record that doesn’t want anything from them just to try it and see if it is for them.
Of course I mean a company such as Wealthy Affiliate which I joined over a year ago and have never looked back.

Thanks Robert for your feedback. May be scam critera vary from person to person and to my side it is a program that is not paying to its members like zeekrewards, bannersbrokers and many other PTC sites etc or there are some other sites that has no legit product at all and just using ponzi model.

When you look at Traffic Authorty then it has product, it is legit but its qualty is questioanlbe, so it can’t be scam in my criteria. As it hasn’t quality product so it can never be advisable to be involved in.

That’s why I am promoting Wealthy Affiliate which is simply complete package for everyone. It has over 200,000 communty members and are growing very fast. Robert how’s your experience is going on n Wealthy Affiliate.

Thanks again and enjoing your success in WA.

I am not a big fan of buying traffic and clicks, you never know of what quality and relevance these offers are.

Think it’s much better to build your traffic streams on your own. Sure it takes time, but with some good strategies it’s free and well targeted traffic.

Thanks for sharing!
