No matter what the Bing Rewards claims, I must congratulate you for taking your time to do your own research before joining this business opportunity.

I am completely transparent here and aren’t associated with Bing Rewards in any form.

Instead, I’m here to unveil the truth behind Bing Rewards and what they can really provide for you.

Is it really that easy for Bing Rewards to fulfill its promises? Is it worth your time? And most importantly, is Microsoft Rewards a legit or a scam?

That’s what I will share in this review.

Microsoft (Bing) Rewards Review

Summary: Bing Rewards is a reward site that offers numerous but simple ways to earn residual income from home. The site is free to join for the people of USA and rewards its members in the form of points which they later convert it into Microsoft shopping store.
Microsoft is a big name; however, this is for those people who have just started to earn their first dollar. It isn’t something that makes you rich.

Rating: 80/100

Verdict: No

What is Microsoft (Bing) Rewards?

Bing is a product of Microsoft and is a popular search engine. Its number is immediately after Google and comprises more than 20% of the search percentage from all over the world.

In order to take Google share in the search results, the Microsoft started a reward program with the name of Bing Rewards.

The concept isn’t new, and if you know Swagbucks, Inbox Dollars and Fusion Cash, the Company works in the same fashion.

You can earn points by searching on the Bing search engine, doing online purchasing at the Microsoft Store, and fulfill fun and easy challenges on your Rewards page.

Initially, it started as a Bing rewards program for searching on the web, but later on, in 2016 they decided to rename it as Microsoft rewards to add other options as well.

How to Make Money from Microsoft (Bing) Rewards?

Your first step is to create an account with Microsoft. After verifying your id, the next step is to earn points;

1. Browsing Bing Search Engine

Use their bing.com, this way you will earn 5 points for each search. If you are on level 1, you are allowed to accumulate as much as 50 points per day.

But for level 2, you can gather as much as 250 points per day.

So, your first task is to attain the level 2. This can be achieved by earning 500 points per month. As long as you earn 500 points per month, you will attain that level.

2. Active Browsing

If you use their browser Microsoft Edge, this will earn you 5 points a day for level 1 individual and 20 points a day for level 2 people.

3. Shop in the Microsoft Store

Visit their store and shop for products like Windows, games, apps and many more and earn points. They will track your shopping, and for every dollar you spend, you will earn 1 point.

$1 = 1 point

Additionally, you will also get discounts and offers from Microsoft store.

4. Complete Offers

Microsoft offers are simple and don’t require personal information.

If you see other GPT programs, this area is always a deep concern for me as you are requested to provide credit card details and other personal information.

Here you will see fun quizzes, doing a quick search, setting up a goal and taking an MS Rewards tour. I also got paid 75 points just for setting a goal.

How Does Microsoft Rewards Pay?

Microsoft rewards provide you with several options to redeem your points.

You can convert your points for Xbox and Windows gift cards and sweepstakes entries, or there is also an option of donating them to charity.

Microsoft Rewards will also give gift cards from 3rd-parties like Amazon and Starbucks on a promotional basis.

However, you can’t cash out your points to your PayPal account, since the points don’t really hold any cash value.

So, if you find their cash out option doesn’t worthwhile, this site isn’t for you.

For cashout, you need to gather as many points as there is an option available in the Microsoft store  and also for;

  • Sweepstakes entries
  • Charitable donations
  • Gift cards from Amazon and Starbucks
  • Microsoft specific gift cards: Xbox, Windows Store, and Microsoft Store.

How to Gather More Points? (Microsoft Hacks)

Your points depend on how active you are in doing different options. Moreover, your status level also plays a major factor to earn more. But reaching level 2 isn’t a tough ask. You can reach it within a few days.

Let’s suppose you have reached a level 2;

  • Bing searches every day (250*30) = 7,500 points per month
  • Earn 25 points per day for completing offers (25*30) = 750 points per month
  • Actively browsing Microsoft Edge = 150 points per month

Total: 8,400 points per month, or $8.40.

Very low, just like other “Get Paid To” and “Reward” sites out there.

Pros & Cons:

The Bad

1. Limited Earning Potential

Despite the time and effort, you put in Bing Rewards, at the end you only have $8.4 in your hand.

That’s true….

Though Bing Rewards is one of the trusted and legitimate sites on the web, still this issue is with it.

Even for that $8.4 per month, you need to spend 60 to 90 minutes daily. That’s a lot of work.

If you think Bing Rewards can replace your 9 to 5 jobs and earn you a full-time income, believe me, that’s not going to happen.

Frankly speaking, I am not going to waste my time on such sites for earning like this and I don’t want to waste your time too.

2. No PayPal

I prefer to join those rewards sites which have a PayPal option because the money gives me the option to use it as per my way.

Rather than choosing the specified rewards options that don’t have any need for me.

If you are also with the same mind, please don’t join Bing Rewards. It seems to be built for people who only support Microsoft products and services, as the rewards are limited to mostly Microsoft products.

3. Limited to the U.S People

If you are residents of the United States, you can use this option to earn extra income each month.

I think this option should be extended to the whole world as people all over the world used Bing as a search engine on a regular basis.

4. Banned When Trying to Cash Out

A few members are complaining about getting banned for violating the Terms of Service (TOS) when trying to redeem their points.

Even they tried to contact the support team but didn’t receive an explanation of what they did wrong.

Obviously, such trusted names have issues with their algorithms; they violated the terms. To avoid this happening, be sure to read and abide by the TOS carefully.

5. No Referral Commission

This is bad news for those people who are good at recruiting people. Whether they bring this option in the future or not, I am not sure.

But if they want to expand it to other areas in the United States and even more, I think this is must avail option for them.

Is Bing Rewards a Scam?

Bing Rewards is not a scam rather it is one of the trusted brands on the web. Everyone knows Windows, Bing, and others products of Microsoft.

The Company offers numerous ways to earn points, and by using each of the options, you could increase your earnings.

Though the site is a legitimate and trusted name, whether it is a worthwhile opportunity or not? That’s the main issue.

I think if you could utilize it to earn a few bucks per month as a side income, that’s a good option. However, I don’t recommend you to take it a long-term income opportunity.

Can Bing Rewards become your cash cow and provide you with the lifestyle that you want? I don’t think so, but that’s just my opinion.

Want to Earn a Full-time Income From Home?

Final Verdict:

Though Bing Rewards is a legit product, I recommend you to put your focus on your own online business rather than earning $8.40 per month.

Such income couldn’t make you rich, and it’s just a way to take a start to earn your first few dollars. However, there is only one method that made me succeeded over the years is affiliate marketing.

The reasons are simple…

  • It has far more earning potential than Microsoft (Bing) Rewards
  • It gives you control and ownership that Microsoft (Bing) Rewards doesn’t
  • You can promote any products you want
  • It’s Free to get started

Don’t put so much effort on Bing Rewards and other similar GPT businesses.
