The heads of this program are Peter Gantner and Doug Kyle. These are not new names in the industry. They’ve been having quite some dealings. Peter Gantner, for instance, has had an experience with a few multi-level marketing companies like lyoness just recently in 2012 and worked through it until 2013. He also had been involved with visuals in 2008 all the way to 2012. It also happens that earlier this year, he had uploaded a video on YouTube promoting kannaway, whether he still does it has not been fully established.

Doug, on the other hand, was working on a fuel emission project where he had launched a matrix that helped reduce the harmful fuel emissions by a half and improve on the environment. The real motive behind this was to get at least $50,000 from this project, but unfortunately for him, he only raised an amount of $10,300.

Well, as mentioned before, it’s all about crowdfunding, getting people to choose from a variety of different products, and identifying the one that will be a ‘hot cake’ in the market. From there, the product is going to be promoted by the affiliates and get much exposure for it which will help sell it in huge quantities. And the catch is, out of every sale made by the affiliates, commissions are earned in the form of points.

Later, when the points add up, they can be cashed out to the affiliates once they reach the minimum threshold.

They also said, in a marketing video presentation they made, that the prices would go up again very soon, to $299. So you can’t be sure of what you’ll be paying, if you decided to use it, in the next two years.

• Although they offer quality training, the program has been greatly overpriced. First, they haven’t made any significant changes in the program to deem it worthy of hiking the cost. Secondly, they don’t give clear and justifiable reasons for the increment. (I know many programs that charge less and offer far more insight than Kula Brands)

• The company has barely gotten a huge crowd enough to make the program a success. And I bet it’s due to the registration charges. If they keep doing this, they’ll find it hard to stay in the industry for more than a year.

• I don’t like the fact they won’t disclose the points they award in the “Partial Points” and how deep they get into the downline to do this. You never know, they may be awarding less than they ought to, based on the efforts you have made.

• The company has other tricks that they have incorporated into their plan to make people spend more but get even less off their investment. If you do some quick math for the profits you get for $150 investment and the pledges you have to make to increase your points, you’ll find that the cost-benefit analysis doesn’t really add up to a worthwhile venture.

Final Verdict:

Well, the program has a great strategy going for them, and they are offering good training as well as resources to help people make money. And this is a great effort on their side that should be highly appreciated. Although, we need not forget that it had downsides, and threatening ones for that matter.

The cost is too high and keeps going up, the secrets in their compensation plan and their gimmicks to trick you into spending more are something to be kept into consideration. The company is generally good and would actually work for someone who has put all their focus into making money with it, but to me, the downsides outweigh the actual advantages.

So, it’s great, but I wouldn’t recommend it to a goal oriented person.
