Legitimate multi-level marketing companies, unlike pyramid schemes:

1. Have a real product to sell. However, you should be careful as they may purport to sell a product to hide their pyramid structure.
2. If you earn money based on your sales to the public, it may be a legitimate multilevel marketing plan. On the other hand, the pyramid scheme focused on recruiting people to make a sale.

If we look at Valentus, you have seen above it offers real products in the health and wellness niche. Though there are numerous complaints on the web, still some people are applauding it.

Based on this we can say that it isn’t a pyramid scheme and if FTC has no issue with it, we have no right to call it.
