Welcome to my Juice Plus+ review 2021!
Juice Plus+ claims that their products are made from the juice powder concentrates and oils containing more than 45 different fruits, grains, and vegetables.
Apart from naturally occurring vitamins, antioxidants and phytonutrients found in fruits and vegetables, every Juice Plus product are made from quality ingredients grown farm fresh, providing the natural nutrients your body needs.
Being a network marketing company it also offers a business opportunity to its members if they brings people into this company.
No matter what the Juice Plus claim, the best way to corroborate their claims is to read the honest reviews on the internet.
Let me be totally candid with you; I’m not associated with Juice Plus in any form. Instead, my focus is to provide you with detail info about this product.
Is it really that easy for Juice Plus to fulfill its promises? Is it worth your time? And most importantly, is Juice Plus+ a legit or a scam?
That’s all I will be covering in this review.
So let’s start;
Product Name: Juice Plus+
Founder: Jay Martin
Product Type: MLM
Price: $50 + $70/month of minimum auto-ship requirement
Best For: People who love MLM business
Summary: Juice Plus+ is a product line of “National Safety Associates (NSA)” organization, and due to its growth over the years people presumed it to be an MLM company. However, the real company behind it is NSA. The company provides juices and supplements manufactured altogether from vegetables and plants, and its sole purpose is to bridge the gap between your daily diet and what you need to eat. Though there are bundles of complaints, still it is a growing company and BBB accredited business.
Rating: 55/100
Verdict: No
What is Juice Plus+?
In 1970, Jay Martin founded the company “National Safety Associates (NSA),” and we are very close to seeing its golden jubilee.
Since its incorporation, the company had created fire detectors, water filters, and air filters.
The Company started as a small direct sales company, but over the years it has evolved into a big brand. The company operates in the health and wellness niche, and its presence in over 20 countries.
The real breakthrough came in 1993 when NSA added a new product line called “Juice Plus+” to its existing products.
The product they claim is a whole food, plant-based nutrition juice helping bridge the gap between what you should drink and what you do drink.
So, JuicePlus is not a company on its own rather it is a new product line of a company that was operating since 1970.
Though nutritional product line is totally a new line, it gains massive growth over the years.
Health and Wellness is a saturated market, and you cannot sustain there unless you differentiate you from the rest.
The good thing about the company is that it is operating since 1993 and it has all the foundation to support to sustain in this competitive market.
Juice Plus+ Product Line
JuicePlus + is not a replacement for eating fruits and vegetables, and it is also not a medicine, treatment, or multivitamin.
It just supports a healthy diet by giving a much wider variety of naturally occurring vitamins along with other anti-oxidants and phytonutrients found in vegetables and fruits. That’s all!
After their fruit and vegetable are grown, harvested, washed, juiced, and dried, they are mixed into nutritious JuicePlus products that are part of a healthy diet. Juice Plus is made from Farm Fresh Nutrition.
There are three steps in Farm Fresh Nutrition.
1). Family Farm Grown
They worked closely with the farmers in North America and picked the ones that provide the best quality nutrition.
2). Carefully Preserved
Fruits and vegetables drop much of their nutritional value when they’re picked early and shipped long distances.
The Company solves that problem by finding juicing and drying facilities as close to farmers as possible.
3). NSF Certified
Careful testing and independent experts certify the natural purity of their finished products.
NSF also inspects and certifies those products and confirmed this by the NSF seal on every JuicePlus bottle or bag.
As NSF certified products, all Juice Plus+ products experience independent testing that guarantees they meet and exceed strict standards and deliver only the best quality nutrition.
What Are People Saying about Their Products?
The matter is subjective since there are both types of people who are praising and some who are complaining about their products.
One thing for sure, it is not ideal for all.
On the other hand, most of the people don’t care about MLM products, and their sole aim is to make money from it.
If that’s the case, you don’t worry about its products and all you need is to put your effort into recruiting.
Reading those claims, I don’t recommend you to try their products.
How to Make Money with Juice Plus+?
To start with the Juice Plus+ it cost you $50, and you become Juice Plus distributor. At this level, you are only eligible to earn the first level of earnings called Retail Sales Profit.
For this $50 you are provided free training, website, marketing material, back office, and some other resources. You also need to maintain a monthly order of around $70 minimum.
There are seven promotional levels in the compensation plan. Once you reach a certain level, each level is permanent. How you move to each level is determined by your effort and activity level.
There are 4 ways to get paid.
- Retail Sales Profit – When you promote Juice Plus+ products with your family and friends you can earn between $13 to $55 for each purchase they will make.
- Sales Commission – Once you attain the second level of “Direct Distributor” you are also eligible to receive a sales commission. Your commission range will be 6% to 22% depending on the level you are in.
- Bonuses – They are of two types. First, one is called one-time bonuses. At each level of promotions all the way up to the 5th position you can achieve the cash bonus for achieving that level.
- When you reach the 3rd level of the compensation plan, you begin to receive on-going bonuses based on your team performances.
- Benefits – Full corporate benefits package including health, dental, vision and more.

Pros & Cons:
The Good
1. BBB Accredited and NSF Certified
Juice Plus+ is a Better Business Bureau (BBB) accredited business having an A+ rating.
There are also only seven complaints registered with the BBB compared to others who have hundreds.
It is also NSF certified Company, which is a public health and safety organization, and its mission is to protect and promote human health.
The NSF mark is an assurance that the product has been examined by one of the most esteemed independent certification organizations in existence today and it complies with all standard requirements.
2. Growing Company
Juice Plus+ has been operating since 1993, and its main company is about to celebrate its golden jubilee.
Over the years the company has witnessed good growth, and if you look at the screenshot taken from Google trends, you can see the growth since 2004.
The Bad
1. Recruit, Recruit, and Only Recruit
The only way you can survive in this company is to recruit other people.
Your earnings depend on the level you are in which ultimately depends on how many people you have recruited and their performance.
It all starts from creating a list of people in our social circles and then promote them Juice Plus+ to them. Without proper knowledge and experience, how could you do this?
That’s the reason for the high failure rate in MLM companies.
Recruiting is extremely tough, but if you do it right, you can get referrals pretty quickly.
If you love network marketing companies, then why not use social media channels, creating a blog, using YouTube channel to get as many referrals you want.
Though I am not an advocate of MLM if you are doing it already so why not do it rightly.
2. High Cost
I know most are happy with their upfront cost of $50 which is pretty normal for an MLM company.
The real issues start with their monthly auto-ship cost.
At the time of first purchase, you must commit for a 4-month auto-ship. It means you will be charged for four months and they will ship the products to you.
They are of the view that the four months commitment is just due to the requirements of our body to feel the difference.
This claim is subjective as there are tons of people online complaining about the quality of their products.
In my view, this tactic is used only to make more money.
3. Expensive Products but Poor in Quality
I have worked on many popular MLM companies, and it was difficult for me to convince people to join those sites. This is the case with Juice Plus as well.
Simply, on one side the products are expensive as compared to its competitors’ prices and on another side, they don’t offer value.
This issue doesn’t lie only with Juice Plus, but if you look at other popular multi-level marketing companies like Zurvita, Younique, Arbonne, and Kyani, they all are facing this issue as well.
Dues to this extra markup charged by those multi-level marketing companies, it enables them to make a cut from this markup and offer lucrative compensation plan to their members.
That’s for sure; people don’t join them due to their products, rather their sole purpose of joining those sites is to make money by recruiting other people.
Products are pure crap, thus makes extremely hard for their members to convince other people to buy them.
4. Limited Earning Potential
Despite the time and effort, you put in Juice Plus, at the end you only have few bucks in your hand.
That’s true….
Though Juice Plus is one of the trusted/legitimate MLM sites on the web/in this industry, still this issue is with it.
You can get a paycheck of $25 to $100 per month. Even for that $25 to $100, you need to spend 5-6 hours daily. That’s a lot of work.
It is famous that less than 0.5% of people are successful in the MLM businesses.
Additionally, some studies have shown that approximately 1% of people can get their initial investment back.
These are not my claims and if you think otherwise then just give me one example from sites like Empower Network, Perfectly Posh, It Works, jeunesse and many more that has a success rate greater than this
If you think Juice Plus can replace your 9 to 5 jobs and earn you a full-time income, believe me, that’s not going to be happening.
Honestly speaking, I am not going to waste my time on such sites for earning like this and I don’t want/like to waste your time too.
Is Juice Plus a Scam?
Juice Plus is not a scam because it is still legitimate that provides its customers with legitimate business opportunity.
Like most MLM companies, they have their upsides and downsides.
The Company offers some good products that are also in demand for people who are health conscious.
Juice Plus also allows them to take part in its business model and earn a commission for promoting its products to other people.
Despite legitimate, I don’t recommend you to start this as an income opportunity. You cannot expect much from an MLM platform; they get closed anytime.
Can Juice Plus become your cash cow and provide you with the lifestyle that it promises? I wouldn’t think so, but that’s just my opinion.
There are cheaper and rewarding options out there when it comes to making money online.

Is Juice Plus a Pyramid Scheme?
Before looking at whether Juice Plus is a Pyramid Scheme or not, let’s first understand what a pyramid scheme is.
Everyone has a different perspective but what I believe is that the company must have the following characteristics to be called as a pyramid scheme;
- The pyramid scheme doesn’t offer real products to sell. However, they may purport to sell a product, but they often simply use the product to hide their pyramid structure.
- If the income you earn is based on the number of people you recruit and your sales to them, it’s probably not. It could be a pyramid scheme.
When we look at Juice Plus, they have a real product which is also certified by NSF.
It is also operating since 1993, and any one of the above condition had already met the Federal Trade Commission could have closed it.
Final Verdict:
Though Juice Plus+ is a legit MLM company, I recommend you to put your focus on your own online business rather than working for someone else behalf.
Including Juice Plus, MLM sites have very expensive items, and it gets difficult to sell to other people.
That’s where I recommend my favorite business model called as, Affiliate marketing, which is the only method I recommend to make money online.
Let’s look at the reasons why I prefer affiliate marketing over MLM;
- Unlike Juice Plus, you don’t have to recruit anyone to make money
- It gives you control and ownership that Juice Plus doesn’t
- You don’t need to be involved in face to face marketing
- You have the privilege to sell any products you want and not being confined only to sell the products from one MLM company
- It’s Free to get started
Don’t put so much effort on Juice Plus+ and other similar MLM businesses as if the Juice Plus gets closed, all of your efforts will get wasted. I think if you look at MOBE and Digital Altitude in the past, they were hit hard by FTC.
That’s why I prefer affiliate marketing is the only model I like and you couldn’t experience this issue there.
If you want to learn affiliate marketing step-by-step, I recommend seeing a Wealthy Affiliate.
