Five Minute Profit Sites Review

Rating: 35/100

Verdict: No

What is Five Minute Profit Sites?

Sam Smith is the person behind this product, and the site claims to make you rich once you use their proprietary software.

Initially, I thought that the software would build everything for us and we just have to collect money after every month, my friend this isn’t the case here.

The truth is you are provided with a pre-made landing page where you need to send traffic using free and paid methods.

The landing page will be connected to the Aweber account, and when persons give their email addresses, they will be added to the Aweber account. Aweber sends them pre-written emails, and when they buy products, we will get the commission.

The concept is not new, and I have already discussed this concept many times. It is a combination of email marketing and affiliate marketing. Every successful business owner is doing this.

But the issue with this product is that whether it is too simple to get the same sort of results as claimed in the sales page.

Not really!

You need the right kind of training and mindset to get results. I will discuss you in details why this product doesn’t provide the right training and mindset for making money online.

How Does it Work?

Let’s look at the steps you are guided in the member’s area;

1). Create A Site:

Once you login to the member’s area, there you see the button of “Start Site” and if you click on that button, you need to complete three steps;

  • Step 1: Complete Setup – First, you need to create your ClickBank account and then add your nickname in the setup so that your account gets connected with their software.
  • Step 2: Domain Setup – You set up your domain here. You can choose the domain from the present they have already bought in the internet marketing niche.
  • Step 3: Email Service Setup – Now it’s time to connect your Aweber account. Aweber is an autoresponder which stores all of your leads email ids and you can broadcast emails through this service.

Once you have completed all 3 steps, you will get a sales page which looks like this.

Sample Landing Page

You will send all of the traffic to this sales page, and when someone opt-in using email id, he/she will get those free guides.

Till then it’s all fine, and they are saying it right, “you will get ready your site in less than five minutes.” All three steps could hardly take up to 3 to 5 minutes.

2). Traffic Methods

You have created a landing page as I have shown you above. Now all you need is to send it traffic.

There are few methods you were taught in the member’s area which are;

i.    Solo Ads

Solo Ads is a method in which you are renting someone else email list. It is a good method of getting traffic to your sales page, but it is for advanced marketers.

Also, the traffic is costly, and it is cold. You need to warm them up before they actually buy from you. You need to build the trust by providing value to them, and after that, they may go for buy option from your links.

Let’s look at this guy, Kevin Hansen; he is selling solo ads for $0.66 per click. If I go for 250 clicks, I need to pay $168. Once you get traffic on your sales page and some of them like to opt-in, then their email ids will be captured in the Aweber account.

The software will show them free PDFs guides which includes the same information, and if someone from your list buys any of the product using your link, you will get the commission.

Do, you think anyone can purchase what you recommend. I don’t think so. Because the traffic is cold as there is no relationship between you and them. You need to provide them value before they buy through your link.

ii.    Articles Marketing

In this section, you are going to guide about how to write an article and post them on articles directory sites. The famous article directory sites are Ezine Articles and Hubpages.

If you don’t know what article directories sites are then these are just used as spam in the past. People just wrote 500 words low-quality article and got a backlink. That’s why Google had cracked those sites and de-index all majority of those sites.

Do you think, you can get traffic after posting on those article directory sites? I don’t think so. Even getting small traffic, you need to work very hard.

iii.    Guest Blogging

Guest Blogging is another very common method used for SEO purposes. Even sometimes if you guest blog on some popular blogs, you can get good referral traffic.

But those blogs requires from your research to provide value to their visitors.

You simply cannot contact Neil Patel and Brian Dean and ask them to post your article on their site.

If you write low-quality articles for public blog networks or other sites, they couldn’t provide you with any traffic at all.

So, forget about guest blogging for bringing traffic to your sales page. Now let’s look at the fourth method that was taught to you.

iv.    Forum Marketing

Forum marketing used to be a good way to bring traffic to your site but not now. Firstly, Google also crushed many forums in the past, and there are very few high-quality forums that are getting good traffic from Google.

These are Quora, Digital Point, and Warrior Forum, to name a few.

Even for posting your sales page link, you need to do a lot of effort. Because you cannot simply go there and mentioned your link in the post. The moderators are very active, and they will remove your post and even suspend you for repeated non-compliances.

First, you need to provide value to the community, and then they allow you to post any valuable link in your post.

However, if you see your sales page, there isn’t any content on it which provides any value at all. So, it becomes extra difficult to get traffic from Forums as well.

v.    Blog Commenting

In blog commenting you can place your link after commenting on someone else’s blog. But the issue is the webmaster usually don’t allow any link in the comment section.

Either it will send that comment in the spam or if webmaster approves that he will remove that link from the blog comment.

Even if you comment with link get accepted, it is of no value regarding traffic.

Blog commenting never used to be a good way of getting traffic and even today.  One out of thousands, if he is lucky, to get a few visitors to his blog.

vi.    Press Releases

Smith also recommends press releases as a way of getting traffic. He is of the view that, news reporter might pick it up your release and it may get viral.

But remember a new reporter will never pick up a press release which is promoting a sales page like us. It isn’t a new worthy page, and it makes no sense to them.

Pros & Cons:

The Bad

1. Hidden Ownership

After seeing sales video and looking in the member’s area, I couldn’t find any picture of a person who is the owner of this person. The only name I heard is “Sam Smith” but as per my experience he is only a narrator, and the name is fictitious.

I know this issue is common with other ClickBank products as well. I have recently reviewed a product The CB Cash Code with the same issue.

2. Outdated Methods

A lot of stuff in the traffic methods are old fashioned and outdated. Article directories, blog commenting, forum marketing, guest blogging, press releases simply don’t work in 2018.

If you were living in 2010, these may be good ways for traffic generation but not now.

The only one method which is using by the expert marketers is solo ads. However, as a beginner, I will not recommend it to you.

3. Too Much Hype

If you look at the sales page, you would think that your life is about to change and you are ready to start earning $500 per day very soon. But that’s just to lure newbies in their trap.

You first need to make a $1, then $100 per month, then $1000 per month and so on. It could take up to 1 to 2 years, but that’s how you can build your online business.

There is no get rich scheme out there that can make you money instantly.

4. Not Recommended for Newbies

As you see that the only method I recommend from their methods is solo ads. However, there are a few things you need to consider before making any deal.

There is a good marketplace in the name of Udimi where you can find good suppliers, but the issue is it is costly as well.

I recommend you to start with a $500. For this price, you can get up to 750 visitors to your landing page. If your conversion rate is 30%, then you will get 225 leads.

However, as per my analysis, you cannot make more than 5 to 6 sales from those 225 leads, and if your commission per sale is $30, then it becomes $150.

So you make a loss of $350 = $500-$150

If you also subsequently follow them up your 225 leads then also you don’t expect more than 5 to 6 sales. But you need to provide them value first.

Considering those facts into mind, I don’t recommend this traffic source for newbies.

5. Upsells and Hidden Cost

The front end product comes up with the price of $37, and there are three upsells which includes;

  • #1. FMPS Faster Profits ($197) – It is a pre-built website with vast content (videos, articles, and reviews) relating to the make money niche. Their members can generate their affiliate links throughout the website at a click of a button.
  • #2. FMPS Double Your Profit Sites ($187) – It is a pre-built website with vast content (videos, articles, and reviews) relating to different topics (health and weight loss, self-help, green energy and many more)
  • #3. FMPS Traffic Tsunami ($97) – It consists of training, ranging from basic to advance, designed to bring traffic to your sales page. You will learn here blog commenting, press release, video traffic and how to bring traffic through a blog.

All of their upsells are just waste of money, and the first two ones are pre-built websites, but you cannot generate traffic from on those sites.

So, they are of no use. While the third one is traffic guide on some old, outdated methods which simply don’t work in 2018.

Apart from Upsells, you need to incur a cost of Aweber, which is $19 per month.

6. No Control on Your Websites

This is another horrible truth I need to reveal it to you. The sites that were built on their proprietary software will be hosted on FMPS servers. It means those sites are not yours instead the mysterious owner owns these.

If you really want to take control of your websites, you have to purchase the domain name and hosting yourself from companies like Name Cheap, GoDaddy or HostGator.

The issue is if FMPS closed one day (which I really think), those websites given to you would also be gone.

So, you move to zero again.

As a word of caution, you need to learn how to create YOUR website in the first place.

This is what you are thinking about; I recommend you to see Wealthy Affiliate.

That’s the platform where I learned all this stuff and started making money since 2015.

7. Impossible to Rank on Google

The websites that you can make in 5 minutes will not rank on Google, as it isn’t content on it.

So, without ranking, there is no traffic; hence no earnings.

Even the first two upsells, you are given two pre-built websites, but they are of no use.

Content marketing is what you need to learn to get success in search traffic.

If you want to learn the art of driving traffic from search engine, I definitely suggest you again my #1 recommended platform, i.e., Wealthy Affiliate.

Want to Earn a Full-time Income From Home?

Is Five Minute Profit Sites a Scam?

In my opinion, it isn’t a good product, but I don’t call it a scam.

But there all claims as shown in the sales page are untrue, and these are just to lure innocent people into the business.

You are getting something for the money, and you get ready your sales page within 5 minutes along with decent training on solo ads.

Rests of all others are pure crap. I don’t recommend buying its upsells. Even two of its modules video marketing and how to build a blog are under construction.

Also, there are other issues to be kept in mind like;

  • The websites are not even yours. It will be gone if FMPS shuts down
  • You cannot rank those sites on Google
  • A lot of old and outdated stuff that isn’t working in 2018

How would you feel?

My advice to you is to stay away from FMPS as it would only waste your time.

Final Verdict:

I have been building websites since 2015, and currently, I am the owner of 5 sites, and I have been getting traffic from all those sites.

I know most of you are wary of coding and programming but trust me, there are no issues anymore.

I don’t know a single code and earning a full-time income from those sites.

I have learned one thing is working online; you need to know how to create a website to make money online. This is how you can make a sustainable and consistent income online.

So, without further delay, I am presenting you my #1 option that will guide you everything about creating a website even if you are a complete beginner.

The site is operating since 2005, and the owners are Kyle and Carson. The site has over 1 million members.
